Santa Barbara Zoo

The zoo is simply a classic, and the Santa Barbara Zoo is a convenient 19 minute drive from UCSB. Located around Lower State Street, the zoo is home to over 500 animals, ranging from African Lions to Island Foxes.

Pismo Beach

Campus Point is my favorite tanning location, however a weekend in Pismo Beach is my next trip! An hour and a half away from UCSB, Pismo Beach is the perfect cozy weekend getaway.

As a San Diegan, I often go to Laguna Beach with my family, and 1000 Steps Beach is an Instagrammable location for anyone hoping to live out their O.C. dreams.
